We are looking for a Release Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end release process of software products. The ideal candidate will ensure that releases are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, process ownership, and strong communication skills.The Release Manager will act as the central point of coordination for all release-related activities, ensuring adherence to defined processes while continuously improving release efficiency, reliability, and transparency. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end software release lifecycle
• Ensure releases are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality
• Develop, manage, and maintain release schedules, including planning and coordination of all release activities
• Ensure adherence to release processes across all involved teams
• Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders to align release plans with project timelines and business objectives
• Conduct release preparation meetings and facilitate release planning, status meetings, retrospectives, and readiness reviews
• Act as the primary point of contact for all release-related activities and communications
• Communicate release plans, schedules, risks, and status updates to stakeholders
• Provide regular status reports and release documentation
• Facilitate go/no-go decisions and post-release retrospectives
• Monitor release progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure:

1. Thorough testing and validation
2. Completion of NRT, sanity checks, and performance tests

• Ensure deployment activities are executed successfully and according to standards
• Maintain release-related documentation, including:

1. Release notes
2. Deployment guides
3. Rollback plans

• Review, approve, or block Merge Requests (MRs) based on release readiness and quality analysis

• Solid experience with versioning and release management tools (Git, GitLab)
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with scripting languages, preferably Node.js
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools
• Working knowledge of frontend technologies (React, HTML, CSS)

• Basic knowledge of CMS, OMS, or similar enterprise platforms

• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Ability to manage multiple releases and priorities in parallel
